Mark’s guest chef series in his Kitchen Library

On Wednesday 14th June, Mark Hix will be joined by guest chef and fellow MBE, Romy Gill, in his Kitchen Library in Shoreditch for a one-off supper club. Romy and Mark will be designing a four-course menu showcasing the best of British ingredients and Romy’s own range of spices and chutneys, inspired by her childhood in West Bengal.
This year’s Kitchen Library series hosts a series of intimate suppers where Mark will invite a special gust to cook alongside him for an evening of great food, company and conversation for 12 guests only.
At each dinner, Mark and his guest will cook and serve four-courses; 2 courses from Mark and 2 courses from guest chef. Each course will also be paired to wines and cocktails. Present at each dinner will be Dustin Macmillan, HIX bar brand manager, who will be working with each of the guest chefs to devise punchy concoctions and tasty snacks to whet the appetite.
Each guests will receive a goody bag which will include a signed cookbook from one of the chefs of the evening. The evening will start with canapes and cocktails from 7pm.
